UNITED LABRADOR RETRIEVER ASSOCIATION

Our Mission is to preserve the Labrador Retriever as a working gun dog who is a delightful and obedient family companion and a beautiful and sound physical example of its breed by sponsoring events that allow labradors to prove they possess these characteristics.

UNITED LABRADOR RETRIEVER ASSOCIATION TOP 10 HALL OF FAME

Camaraderie, cooperation, and competition go hand-in-hand at all events sponsored and attended by ULRA members.  Nothing demonstrates this more than Top Ten results – members enter and show their labradors in numbers that make a difference to Top Ten standings.  Since September 2003 when the club was formed, ULRA members supporting each other contributed to the unbroken string of  Top Ten Labradors seen below.

Each labrador inducted into the ULRA Top Ten Hall Of Fame is proudly owned by an ULRA member.  Most were also bred by their ULRA owner-handlers.  We invite you to click on the names and learn more about these dogs, remembering that behind every Top Ten ranked dog stand legions of ULRA supporters and friends, whose sportsmanship and entries made these achievements possible.  These truly are group achievements.

A Special Note:

The UKC had its first Top Ten for Labrador Retriever in 2000. This year is the 10th anniversary!

Our club is honored to have a member who had a placement in that first Top Ten. Red Birch's My Father's Eyes loved by Barb Christman.

He earned the FIRST TT-Award of Excellence at the 2001 Premier and was the second Labrador Retriever to earn the title GRCH in UKC.

In fact, Barb has had a Top Ten Labrador in all the years prior to our clubs founding year and continues with her success as you can see.

Congradulations to all the owners of these Labradors and thank you for your dedication to our mission.
